Coincidentally.....
In my last post I was grumbling about recycling facilities in Muscat...well a few days ago I found two. Both in Shatti al Qurm. Not sure how I missed them before, unless they are new. I'm also not sure how the guy at Muscat Municipality couldn't help us when we called, considering they have nice big Muscat Municipality logos on them. Anyway, I'm finally relieved of all those empty bottles!

ReplyDeleteI will like to asked you: Are you married with an Omani? If yes how you get married? I have a relation from almost 4 yrs with an Omani and we want to get married. he is from Khasab, musandam, Oman, shihuh tribe.We went to Muscat and they told us is imposibble, you need wasta to get aproval.No Im working in Dubai and he is in Khasab. Where ever we asked they said is imposible but i found out that many Omani married with other nationalities.
What can I do?

Dear Victoria, where did you find these? Please give the specific location I would love to start recycling-I have never seen these in Oman either, and Ive been here over a decade!
ReplyDeleteThere is one just by Costa at Shatti al Qurm and there is another one the opposite end, which I think is by Crepe Cafe (or something like that). They take paper, cans and plastic : )
